Coach Dennis Jordan is in his 5th year as a member of the P.E. Staff and Head Baseball Coach at North Paulding. Coach Jordan is a native of the Atlanta area where he was raised in Cobb County and attended South Cobb High School, lettering in football, baseball and basketball.  He continued his education and playing career at Dekalb Community College and The University of Tennessee, where he received his B.S. degree in Education.  He then continued his education at The University of Alabama where he received his Masters and Lincoln Memorial University where he finished his 6-year degree.


After graduating from Tennessee, Coach Jordan returned to South Cobb High School where he stayed for 3 years as an assistant football and baseball coach.  In 1986-87, he went to Walton as an assistant football and baseball coach and a year later was named the Head Baseball coach.  He coached the Walton Raiders for the next 16 seasons leading the program to the State Championship game 3 times, winning the championship in 1992.  During Coach Jordan's tenure, the Raiders made it to the finals or the final four in 8 of 15 seasons.  After leaving Walton, Coach Jordan went to Kell High School for a short stint, and for the past 8 years has worked for East Cobb Baseball, his last 3 years as the Director of Baseball for the #1 youth baseball organization in America.  Also, Coach Jordan spent 3 seasons as an assistant baseball coach at Roswell High School.


In his first year as North Paulding's Head Baseball Coach (2013), Coach Jordan led the Wolfpack to the State playoffs for the first time in school history, followed up in 2014 by making it to the Elite 8 and a final ranking of 6th in the state.  In 2016, the Wolfpack once again returned to the state playoffs, their 3rd time in 4 years.  Coach Jordan has an overall record of 422 Wins and 162 Losses, with a winning percentage of 72%.


Coach Jordan has been married to his wife, Melissa, for 32 years and together they have two children, Chad (28) who is an Assistant Coach for the Wolfpack and Zack (27) who along with the coach's new daughter-in-law, Carolee, resides in Macon. Coach and Melissa are active members of Acworth United Methodist Church.  They reside in White, Georgia in a wonderful log cabin on Land, Land, Land!!
